Pony is clipped so we were able to do some real work today! He was very zoomy and while I appreciated the enthusiasm, I did have to remind him that I will not be responsible for holding him upright and he would also need to do that, too. 🤣 It’s so encouraging to see that while his body is still adapting to the change in climate, he is happy and interested in going to work!

🎃Theo Goes to Salem🎃
Being within driving distance of Salem, MA, we had to make a day of it and immerse ourselves in all things spooky season and hang out with friends! While Salem itself is an incredible thing to see (especially this time of year), bringing the dogs made it extra fun. Theo took full advantage of the Scary Dog Privilege provided by his friend, Idris, and let her lead the way through the crowds.

Honestly, though, if I had a dollar for every time we were stopped so people could pet Theo (not to mention the times we heard “It’s a Corgi!” or saw people snapping pics stealthily) I would be set for life. In every store or vendor’s booth we went to, Theo immediately found the front counter and turned on the charm. He worked especially hard at @amelialeonardsart since the booth was so busy, he had to use his #corgimindmeld to make his way to the front to be noticed.

At the end of the day, both dogs had far exceeded our expectations in such a potentially overwhelming environment. Theo has spent the majority of his time off leash as a farm dog for the last few years, so I was really proud of him for remembering his manners in public. I think my little dog is a civilized grown up! ♥️♥️
