I’ve been quietly enjoying a newfound artistic endeavor that I’d like to finally share. Painting model horses has been a wonderful way to recharge and feed my need for creativity. I keep saying I’ve never truly enjoyed painting on a canvas (I prefer pencil or digital) but I actually had FUN painting a 3D model.

I have a few more special projects planned, and I’m just gonna see where this takes me. I’ve loved being able to find a new and interesting way to explore my art.

Our winter season in FL has begun, and we’ve hit

Our winter season in FL has begun, and we’ve hit the ground running. There are some big things coming up, and this is the first of my updates:

I’m so excited to announce my new partnership with @aviarsaddles as a sponsored rider! Over the past couple of years, I’ve been able to try out their saddles on a variety of horses, both youngsters and schoolmasters alike. Aviar saddles are extremely lightweight and have a much smaller footprint than other brands - which is awesome for me as a tall person on my short-backed Haflinger! It’s a relief not having to worry about my saddle fitting me but being too long for Crumble’s back. Additionally, I absolutely love the super close-contact feel and how their saddles guide me into a correct position while still allowing me space to move.

Huge thanks to @aviarsaddles and our rep, @scssaddlefit for this opportunity! And, as always, endless thanks to @ruthhoganpoulsen, for helping me navigate all the new and exciting things coming this way.

I just received my new Aviar in the mail and am looking forward to training and showing in it this winter while I’m here in Wellington. What a great way to kick off the season!

Talk about serious adulting…towing my house with me for 1500+/- miles twice per year really make me proud of myself. 💪🏻 Although it’s exhausting, I love making this trip and having so much time to myself. It’s such a great refresher.

My little truck is a beast. And the Airstream rode perfectly. I have a solid idea of where I can fit and how I can turn - so that gives me a lot of confidence when maneuvering through questionable gas station parking lots! Amelia Airheart may be 30’ long, but she can make some pretty tight turns. And back up around corners and into spaces? Meh. No problem.

Now let’s get this winter season started!
